General Properties

Nickel Alloy90

ALLOY 90 is a precipitable chromium-plated nickel-cobalt alloy strengthened by the addition of titanium and aluminum. It is known for its low resistivity and high resistance to oxidation and chemical corrosion. It is used in low value resistors, heating wires and pads in heating wires and in extending low temperature heating cables, and in tube welding. Flat and stranded wires are used to protect switches. Maximum operating temperature in air is +400°C. Alloy 90 has high Nimonic properties at temperatures up to 920°C. Alloy 90 is often overused in applications such as turbine blades, hot work tools, exhaust gas reheaters, discs and high temperature springs.

Application

Alloy90 alloy is mainly used in parts and pipe connectors in high-temperature, high-pressure, and highly corrosive environments such as aviation, petroleum, and chemical industries. Among them, it is widely used in gas turbine engine oxygen injection burners and flow instruments, heat exchangers, automobile brake cylinders, etc. In addition, Alloy90 alloy can also be used to manufacture corrosion-resistant, high-temperature, and high-pressure equipment such as nuclear reactor vessels, chemical reactors, and oil field development equipment.
